2024 Alberta Soils Tour & The Alberta Soil Science Workshop
The team at Terrene Environmental attended the 2024 Alberta Soils Tour. This is a two day event that explores the Boreal Region across the North Central regions of Alberta. The Soil Science Workshop includes observations of Orthic Gray Luvisols, Hummocky Morainal landscapes, watersheds of the Sand River, Chernozems and the use for agricultural research trials.

2023 Plant Identification Course
Staff at Terrene Environmental attended the 2023 Annual Plant Identification Course provided by Tannas Conservation Services. This course offers three components of plant identification including forbs, grasses and sedges/willows.
This is a two day event that includes classroom sessions, hands-on field keying and identification, using The Common Plants of Western Rangelands Field Guide. The tour takes the team to field locations within the forested reserve of West of Cremona, AB and a tour through the Eastern Slopes and Rangeland Seeds greenhouse.
